1. Acceptance & Scope of Agreement

By creating an account, downloading the App, visiting the Website, or using any feature of SuturedNotes, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms constitute a single, unified legal agreement between you and SuturedNotes governing your access to and use of all aspects of the Service across mobile and desktop platforms.

Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use SuturedNotes.

2. Description of Service

SuturedNotes is an advanced AI-powered educational study platform designed specifically for medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, and allied healthcare students. The Service provides:

Lecture Document Processing: Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and parsing of uploaded PDFs, slides, and study notes.
AI Content Generation: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), USMLE-style clinical vignettes, flashcard decks, summaries, cheat sheets, and mnemonics.
Active Recall Study Planner: Automated study block scheduling and optional Google Calendar synchronization.
Interactive AI Study Assistant: AI chat assistance for clarifying medical concepts and organizing study schedules.

3. Strict Medical & Academic Disclaimer

SUTUREDNOTES IS AN EDUCATIONAL SUPPLEMENT ONLY. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, CLINICAL DIAGNOSES, TREATMENT GUIDANCE, OR OFFICIAL MEDICAL GUIDELINES.

AI Imperfections & Accuracy: Content generated by the Service is produced by artificial intelligence and may occasionally contain inaccuracies, omissions, or AI "hallucinations". You are solely responsible for independently verifying all medical information, dosages, and clinical facts against official medical textbooks and university curricula.

No Exam Guarantee: SuturedNotes makes no warranty that using the Service will result in passing university examinations or standardized licensing exams (including USMLE, IFOM, SMLE, OMSB, etc.).

4. Account Registration & Single-Device Policy

Credentials: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Single Active Device Policy: Each SuturedNotes account and subscription is strictly licensed for use on a single active registered mobile device. Account sharing, credential sharing, or group access is strictly prohibited.

Anti-Circumvention: Creating multiple accounts or using automated tools to exploit free trial allocations or bypass single-device enforcement will result in immediate account suspension.

5. User Content & Intellectual Property

Your Uploaded Content: You retain ownership of original study documents you upload. You grant SuturedNotes a non-exclusive license to store, process, OCR, and analyze your uploads solely to operate and deliver the Service.

Strict PHI Ban: You represent and warrant that you will NEVER upload Protected Health Information (PHI), patient medical records, or confidential patient charts.

Platform IP & AI Outputs: SuturedNotes owns the software, algorithms, branding, and platform technology. Generated study materials are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial educational use only.

6. Subscriptions, Payments & Refund Policy

Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance via in-app purchases (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) or official website checkout gateways. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date.

Strict Non-Refundable PolicyAll fees and subscription payments are strictly non-refundable. Except where explicitly required by mandatory consumer protection law or store policies, no refunds or credits will be issued for partial billing periods or unused quotas.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Share credentials, resell access, or bypass single-device restrictions.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract underlying AI prompts or source code.
Use scrapers, bots, or automated tools to access or extract content.
Upload malware, infringing materials, or Protected Health Information (PHI).

8. Third-Party Services & Calendar Sync

Google Calendar API: By connecting Google Calendar, you grant SuturedNotes permission to create and manage study events in a dedicated "SuturedNotes Study" calendar. You may revoke access at any time via your Google security settings.

The Service relies on secure cloud and infrastructure providers. Data handling is detailed in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUTUREDNOTES IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. SUTUREDNOTES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE, EXAM FAILURES, OR CLINICAL DECISIONS.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any legal action or dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cairo, Egypt.
